FUCK YEAH GEORGIA!

About:
One of the great things about the The Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry is how closely Georgia and Auburn are tied together.  Vince Dooley, Pat Dye, Shug Jordan, Will Muschamp, and Rodney Garner are just a few of the many people who have connections to both programs.
The series has seen 114 games since 1892, and it is split nearly even with Auburn leading with 54 wins to Georgia’s 52 (8 ties).  The average points scored is also extremely close, with Georgia barely ahead of Auburn with 15.86 to 15.53 points per game.
These close connections have earned this series a reputation as a “family rivalry.”
It’s no different for me.  Above is a picture of my brother and his fellow Plainsmen in the mid 90’s (he’s the one yawning).  You best believe one of us is going to get a phone call full of shit-talking on Saturday night.
